Welcome to the Foothills Salvage & Recycling Society
The Foothills Salvage and Recycle Society has been established to divert usable items from the Foothills Landfill site and at the same time, turn such reusables into cash to be used to finance the expenses of the site and expand the facilities and to assist local charities in their work within the MD of Foothills area.
Hours of operation
The Foothills Salvage and Recycle site is open except for days of inclement weather, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
The site is closed on all statutory holidays and any other day that the MD of Foothills landfill site is closed.
The site may also be closed periodically for cleaning, sorting and re-organization of goods that have been left at the site.
